How to Make Balsamic Red Wine Steak Sauce
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the red wine, balsamic vinegar, and garlic. Ideally, this would be the skillet you just cooked your steak in, with the leftover juices still in it.
- Bring to a simmer, whisking occasionally, until sauce reduces in half and becomes thicker. This can take 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the butter until completely melted. Salt and pepper to taste, if desired.
- Serve over your steak immediately.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to a week. Reheat in a skillet, whisking vigorously if it
separates.
