Keto Approved Marinara Sauces
A lot of marinara sauces available have added sugar. You want to avoid these. Here’s our top 3 store bought brands:
- RAO’S Homemade
- MUIR GLEN Organic
- Victoria
Pepperoni
It’s not needed but it adds the right flavor! With cured meats: most have added sugar. The sugar added in these meats is small and shouldn’t be too much of a concern. However, we like to use pepperoni with no added sugars. Our go-to brand is: Gallo SALAME (All Natural Uncured Pepperoni) – it’s not perfect but it’s what we can easily find.
Ingredients Needed
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 oz (about 16 slices) Pepperoni, no-sugar added
- 1 cup Marinara Sauce, no-sugar added
- Up to 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella (omit for Whole30)
- Shredded Parmesan Cheese, to garnish (omit for Whole30)
This recipe is easy to make and tastes AMAZING, it’ll probably become a family favorite. Enjoy!
